Festval Of Fireworks

In 2011 Pyrotex were invited to take part in the Festival of Fireworks. Even though we were excited we knew there would be a lot of work and expectations on us to deliver a brilliant show due to the feedback from our winning show in Southport in 2010.

The show design was well under way and preparations started, soon we realised that the show was going to be very complex and a showcase display, excitement was building within the team as it was a local event where the crews’ friends and family were turning up to see what we could do.  

The day of the show came, and the weather was perfect! Slight wind blowing away from the crowd, dry and not to cold. The crew and equipment turned up and spirits were high within the team, set up went well. Hours before show time we could start to see the crowds coming in and anticipation started building between the teams. Pyrotex were firing first, the final checks had been made and we were all ready.

The show fired to perfection, synchronization to the music was second to none, leading up to the huge blue and gold finale. The crowd’s reaction was so loud of cheers and horns, it gave all the team goosebumps. It was a magical moment and the team had pulled off a perfect show, reviews started coming in after a few days, and we were overwhelmed with the amount of positive feedback and comments. Hopefully one day we will be invited back to wow the crowds again at Catton Hall.
