Scott Machin
Operations Manager
Scott started his full-time role as Operations Manager back in 2016. He deals with all Pyrotex’ clients and the day to day running of the business. He has a strong passion for fireworks and could not be happier doing his dream job.
His main roles are to deal with clients from the first phone call, site visits, picking products, sorting transport, risk assessments, and arranging staff to fire the firework display.
Scott has also been lucky enough to compete around the world with Pyrotex which includes, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Vietnam, Courchevel, and St Tropez.
Scott was given the chance to design his own show for the British Firework Championship in 2019 where he rose to the challenge and won, adding to Pyrotex’s trophy collection.
Q&A With Scott
Always loved fireworks as a child and will never forget the first time I went into the local firework shop with my dad! Then getting to set off what we had bought in the garden that evening. Since then I’ve never looked back.
